Cerritos vs Allan Hancock

SANTA MARIA, Calif. (Interstat) — A pair of teams on different trajectories will meet Wednesday when the surging Cerritos Falcons visit the Allan Hancock Bulldogs in a men’s junior college basketball matchup.

The Falcons (4-1) enter the contest riding a three-game winning streak, most recently dominating Cypress in a 74-46 victory on Nov. 19. Dorian Tate led the way with a double-double, posting 12 points, 12 rebounds and five assists, while Kamaury Washington added a team-high 19 points.

Conversely, the Bulldogs (4-3) look to rebound from an 87-72 home loss to San Diego City on Sunday. Trenten Lavender scored 19 points in the defeat, with Noah Morris adding 11 points and eight rebounds. Allan Hancock had won its two previous games before the loss.

Cerritos’s only blemish this season is a narrow 85-84 road loss to Chaffey. The Falcons have since won their last three contests by an average margin of 19 points.

The Bulldogs have shown a pattern of alternating wins and losses over their past five games and will seek to establish consistency on their home court.

The game is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Allan Hancock College.
