STOCKTON, Calif. (Interstat) — Two men’s junior college basketball teams with identical records and recent stumbles will meet Tuesday when the Yuba 49ers visit the San Joaquin Delta Mustangs.

Both teams enter the California Community College contest with 3-2 overall records. Yuba is looking to rebound from an 81-67 home loss to Sierra this past Saturday. Prior to that, the 49ers had won two straight, including a 72-52 victory over Feather River.

San Joaquin Delta is also seeking to get back on track after a lopsided 103-55 road loss to Ohlone last Wednesday. The Mustangs had previously won two consecutive home games, defeating Cuesta and Mendocino by identical 82-73 and 82-71 scores.

The matchup features two teams that have shown the ability to score, with Yuba posting a 102-point game in its season-opening win over Sacramento City. Both squads will be tested as they look to build momentum before beginning their conference schedules in January.

Tip-off is set for Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, at San Joaquin Delta College.
