LOS ANGELES (Interstat) — Two teams looking to halt losing streaks will meet Tuesday when the Oxnard Condors visit the Los Angeles Trade Tech Beavers in a California community college men’s basketball matchup.

Both teams enter the non-conference game with identical 2-3 overall records. Oxnard has dropped its last two contests, including an 85-56 road loss to Saddleback on Nov. 18. Jeremy Goodcase led the Condors with 16 points in that defeat.

Los Angeles Trade Tech is also looking to rebound from a loss, falling 84-75 to Los Angeles Harbor on Thursday. Will Smith III scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Beavers in the losing effort.

The Condors’ season has been marked by narrow results, with their two victories coming by a combined 10 points and one of their losses by a single point. The Beavers have shown a potent offense, scoring 93 points in a win over Chaffey on Nov. 12, but have struggled defensively in their defeats.

Tuesday’s game will be the final outing for both teams before a brief break for the Thanksgiving holiday. Oxnard will next play on Dec. 6 against Los Angeles City, while the Beavers are scheduled to travel to Saddleback on Dec. 5.
