SALT LAKE (Interstat) — The Salt Lake Bruin Bears dominated the Central Wyoming Rustlers 99-68 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday.

Salt Lake seized control with a 45-point first quarter and led 99-68 by halftime, cruising to the road victory. The Bruin Bears improved to 5-6 this season. The Rustlers fell to 1-7. Makuei Riek led Salt Lake, while Jordan Peel paced Central Wyoming.

The result reversed a pregame projection that heavily favored Central Wyoming to win. Salt Lake completes a two-game road sweep after defeating Casper on Friday.
