WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. (Interstat) — The Los Angeles Pierce Brahmas host the winless Los Angeles City Cubs in a California men’s junior college basketball matchup on Wednesday for Staff & Faculty Night.

Los Angeles City (0-5) is seeking its first victory after a series of narrow defeats. The Cubs fell 69-66 to Irvine Valley on Saturday, Nov. 15. Devean Mpoupe-Singui nearly recorded a double-double in the loss with 10 points and nine rebounds, while Kye Usher-Brown led the team with 15 points and six assists.

The Brahmas (2-2) are looking to rebound from a 72-55 road loss to Copper Mountain, also on Nov. 15. In that game, Jalen Thomas scored seven points and grabbed eight rebounds. Pierce’s season has been marked by inconsistency, sandwiching a 103-point offensive outburst against Imperial Valley with double-digit losses.

A statistical projection from Interstat forecasts a high-scoring affair, simulating a 100-100 tie. The game tips off Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025.
