Baltimore City vs Monroe

MONROE, N.Y. (Interstat) — The Monroe College Mustangs, winners of three straight, will look to continue their momentum when they host the winless Baltimore City Panthers in a men’s junior college basketball game on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025.

Monroe (5-3) is coming off a 91-82 road victory over Allegany (Md.) on Nov. 30, powered by Naceiar Kirksey’s 23 points, six rebounds and seven assists. Nick Williams and Nico Pena each added double-doubles in the win. The Mustangs’ current streak includes a 65-41 win over Hagerstown on Nov. 29.

Baltimore City (0-1) opened its season with a 64-50 home loss to Hagerstown on Nov. 15. Jamari Seri led the Panthers with 12 points in that contest, while Diallo Long added 11 points. Monroe defeated that same Hagerstown team by 24 points in its most recent meeting.

The matchup presents a stark contrast in early-season form. Monroe has averaged 83.6 points during its three-game win streak, while Baltimore City was held to 50 points in its lone outing.

This game begins a key stretch for Monroe, which will embark on a trip to Arizona for three games later in December. Baltimore City will travel to face Harcum College the following day.

The teams are scheduled to meet again in Baltimore on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026.
