OLNEY, Ill. (Interstat) — The State Fair Roadrunners and Olney Central Blue Knights, both seeking consistency in the early season, will meet in a men’s junior college basketball game Thursday night.

State Fair (3-5) visits Olney Central (1-4) in a rematch of a Nov. 4 contest won by the Roadrunners, 78-69, in Sedalia, Missouri. The Roadrunners are looking to bounce back from a 95-74 road loss to Southeast on Tuesday.

The Blue Knights, meanwhile, have not played since a 89-52 defeat at Mineral Area on Nov. 22. Their lone win this season came against Kennedy-King on Nov. 8.

Despite the teams’ combined 4-9 record, Interstat’s game simulator projects a high-scoring affair, forecasting a 100-100 tie.

In the first meeting, State Fair secured a nine-point victory at home. Cedric Schall, Jaydon Eldridge and Jordan Babcock were noted as productive players for the Roadrunners in their most recent contest.

Following this game, Olney Central will host Moberly Area on Saturday. State Fair’s next game is not until Jan. 3 at Coffeyville.
