Tyler vs Navarro

CORSICANA, Texas (Interstat) — The Navarro Bulldogs, riding a two-game win streak, will host the struggling Tyler Apaches in a men’s junior college basketball game Wednesday night.

Navarro (5-2) enters the contest following a 78-63 road victory over Baton Rouge on Nov. 25. The Bulldogs have shown a potent offense, averaging 75.1 points per game, but have been inconsistent, including a 20-point home loss to Howard on Nov. 15.

Tyler (0-2) seeks its first win of the season after two narrow defeats. The Apaches fell 65-58 to Weatherford at home on Nov. 8 and lost 80-79 in overtime to Southwestern Christian on Nov. 4.

The matchup presents a stark contrast in early-season momentum. Navarro’s balanced attack will be tested against a Tyler team that has kept games close but has struggled to finish. The Bulldogs won last season’s meeting 89-72.

Following this game, Navarro travels to face Bossier Parish on Saturday. Tyler will host Trinity Valley on Saturday.
