(Interstat) — Preview: Three Rivers Raiders at Shawnee Saints

A surging Three Rivers Raiders squad visits the Shawnee Saints in a men’s junior college basketball matchup Wednesday night.

The Raiders (7-4) enter on a three-game winning streak, most recently defeating Wabash Valley 71-60 on Saturday. Guard Matt Hampton powered that victory with 26 points and 7 assists. The Saints (2-1) have been idle since a 95-86 road win at Volunteer State on Nov. 17.

Three Rivers’ offense has averaged 81.5 points during its current streak. Shawnee, led by its own high-scoring performance last time out, will look to counter at home.

The game is a non-conference fixture before both teams begin extended regional schedules in January. For Three Rivers, it’s a final tune-up before a road trip to Northeast Mississippi on Dec. 13. Shawnee hosts Southwestern Illinois on Dec. 10.

Tipoff is set for Wednesday night at Shawnee.
