DIXON, Ill. (Interstat) — Two .500 men’s junior college basketball teams seeking consistency will meet Wednesday when the Southeastern Blackhawks visit the Sauk Valley Skyhawks.

Southeastern (4-4) arrives after an 11-day break following an 82-92 road loss to Moberly Area on Nov. 22. Jacob Franklin led the Blackhawks in that game with 29 points. The team has alternated wins and losses over its past six contests.

Sauk Valley (3-3) last played on Nov. 25, earning a 64-56 home victory over Marshalltown. The Skyhawks’ season has been marked by narrow margins, with two of their three losses decided by a total of three points.

The Blackhawks have shown a stark home/road split, going 4-1 at home but 0-3 in true road games. The Skyhawks are 3-1 on their home court.

This is the first of two regular-season meetings between the teams. They will play again at Southeastern on Feb. 4.

Tip-off is set for Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Sauk Valley Community College.
