REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (Interstat) — The Monterey Peninsula Lobos and the Canada Colts, both seeking to build momentum after sluggish starts, will face off in a California Community College men’s basketball game Friday.

Monterey Peninsula (1-4) enters the contest on a three-game losing streak, most recently falling 90-76 to Chabot on Tuesday. The Lobos’ lone victory this season was a 67-43 road win against Lassen on Nov. 6.

Canada (1-2) snapped a two-game skid in its last outing, defeating San Joaquin Delta 95-83 on Nov. 7. The Colts’ season opened with an overtime loss to Merritt, 91-85.

The matchup will be the final home game for Canada before a two-game road trip. Monterey Peninsula continues a season-opening, six-game road stretch.

Tipoff is set for Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at Canada College.
