McLennan seized control with a 53-point first quarter and never trailed, improving its season record to 4-1. Coastal Bend fell to 0-2. The Highlanders’ offense proved efficient, led by key performances from Katayvon Jefferies and Joseph Mayberry III. The Cougars were led by 26 points from Avion Jackson.
