MOBERLY, Mo. (Interstat) — The undefeated Moberly Area Greyhounds look to continue their dominant start when they host the Highland (Ill.) Cougars in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday at the MACC Thanksgiving Classic.

Moberly Area (6-0) has been one of the early-season standouts, averaging 81.5 points per game. They are coming off a 92-82 victory over Southeastern on Nov. 22. The Greyhounds already own a decisive win over Highland this season, defeating the Cougars 79-60 on the road on Nov. 7.

Highland (4-3) enters the rematch seeking consistency. The Cougars have alternated wins and losses over their past five games, most recently a 75-58 road win over Harry S Truman on Nov. 20. They will need to find an answer for a Moberly Area offense that had little trouble scoring in the first meeting.

The Greyhounds’ perfect record will be tested by a Highland team familiar with their style. The outcome could hinge on whether the Cougars can slow the game’s tempo and improve their defensive effort from the previous matchup.

Tipoff is set for Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025.
