HUTCHINSON, Kan. (Interstat) — A pair of Kansas junior college men’s basketball teams looking to rebound from losses will meet Saturday when the Seward County Saints visit the Hutchinson Blue Dragons.

The game is set for Nov. 29, 2025, at the Hutchinson Sports Arena.

Seward County (6-3) enters the contest after a 78-62 home loss to Coffeyville on Tuesday. Lyna Brooks Jr. led the Saints in that game with 14 points. The Saints have split their last four games, including two road losses in New Mexico before the defeat to Coffeyville.

Hutchinson (4-3) is also coming off a defeat, falling 88-80 on the road to Independence on Tuesday. Bobby Cannon erupted for 38 points in the losing effort for the Blue Dragons. Hutchinson has alternated wins and losses over its last five games.

The matchup begins a tough stretch for both teams in conference play. Seward County will travel to Pratt on Dec. 3, while Hutchinson will face a road test at Barton on the same date.

Saturday’s game will be the first of two scheduled meetings between the Saints and Blue Dragons this season, with the rematch set for later in the conference schedule.
