Dodge City vs Cloud County

CONCORDIA, Kan. (Interstat) — A surging Dodge City men’s basketball team will look to continue its winning ways when it visits Cloud County in a junior college matchup on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025.

The Conquistadors (7-3) enter the contest riding the momentum of a 78-75 home victory over Cowley on Nov. 22, where Derrick Rivers led the way with 31 points and eight rebounds. Brad Johnson added 22 points in the win.

Cloud County (4-3) seeks to rebound on its home court after a narrow 95-89 road loss to the same Cowley team on Nov. 25. Al Brooks Jr. recorded a double-double in that contest with 22 points and 10 rebounds.

The Thunderbirds have shown strength at home this season, most notably with an 85-65 win over Seward County on Nov. 19. However, they are coming off a two-game skid, having also fallen 78-76 to Barton on Nov. 22.

Dodge City boasts a potent offense, having scored 78 or more points in six of its 10 games. The Conquistadors’ three losses have all come on the road, by an average of just over nine points.

The game will be the final November contest for both teams as they prepare for the heart of their conference schedules in December and January.
