Snow vs Northwest
POWELL, Wyo. (Interstat) — The undefeated and high-scoring Snow College Badgers put their perfect record on the line Saturday against the Northwest College Trappers in a men’s junior college basketball matchup.
Snow (7-0) enters the contest riding a wave of offensive dominance, having eclipsed 80 points in six of its seven victories. The Badgers are coming off a 10-day break since their last outing, an 80-71 home win over Indian Hills on Nov. 15. In that game, Sean Felts led the way with 24 points and nine rebounds, while McCaden Adams added 23 points.
Northwest (2-2), playing on its home court, seeks to build momentum after a 94-76 victory over Williston State on Nov. 22. The Trappers were led in that win by Mateo Trujillo, who posted 21 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, and Travis Theran Archibald, who scored 19 points off the bench.
The Badgers’ potent offense, which includes a 117-point performance against Yavapai on Nov. 10, will be a significant test for the Trappers’ defense. Snow has won all of its games by at least nine points.
Saturday’s game is the final home contest for Northwest until mid-January. Snow begins a three-game road trip in Texas next week.
