HICKORY, N.C. (Interstat) — The Caldwell Tech Cobras will look to build on a dominant victory when they host the struggling Pellissippi State Panthers in a men’s junior college basketball game on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025.

The Cobras (1-1) are returning from a three-week layoff following a 108-66 rout of Roane State on Nov. 7. Caldwell Tech opened its season with a 72-80 road loss to the same Roane State team on Nov. 1.

Pellissippi State (1-6) enters on a five-game losing streak and is playing its second game in four days. The Panthers are coming off an 89-60 road loss to Vincennes on Tuesday. In that contest, Tacarien Freeman led the team with 10 points and four rebounds, while Kendrick Lloyd added nine points.

The Panthers’ lone win this season was a 91-88 overtime victory at Dyersburg State on Nov. 8. Their other losses include defeats against Calhoun, Chattanooga State, Columbia State, Motlow State and Gadsden State.

This matchup is the first of a busy stretch for both teams. Caldwell Tech will host Harford on Sunday, while Pellissippi State returns home to face Gaston the same day.
