MILES, Mont. (Interstat) — The Eastern Wyoming Lancers and Miles Pioneers will meet for the second time this season in a men’s junior college basketball game Friday.

The Lancers (2-8) earned a 93-79 road victory over the Pioneers (2-4) on Nov. 6 in the first matchup. Eastern Wyoming’s Azenio Cossa is coming off a 29-point, 10-rebound performance in a 79-73 loss to Western Nebraska on Nov. 24.

Miles is looking to rebound from its own 79-73 loss to Western Nebraska on Monday. Since the loss to Eastern Wyoming, the Pioneers split a two-game homestand, falling to Northwest before defeating Gillette.

Both teams have struggled defensively, setting the stage for a potential shootout. A Interstat game simulator projects a 100-100 final score.

The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tipoff at the Miles Community College gymnasium.
