GOODLAND, Kan. (Interstat) — A men’s junior college basketball showdown between two of the region’s top teams is set for Tuesday as the Garden City Broncbusters visit the Fort Hays Tech Trailblazers at Max L. Jones Fieldhouse.

Garden City enters with a 6-1 record, coming off an 85-75 home victory over Pratt on Saturday. The Broncbusters’ offense was fueled by a balanced attack, with Jordon Nevill scoring 15 points and dishing seven assists, while Devonte Reed added 12 points and Xavier Johnson contributed 11 points and six rebounds.

The Trailblazers (4-1) are also riding momentum from a decisive 87-62 road win against Pratt last Wednesday. Fort Hays Tech was led in that contest by Riccardo Marzetti, who exploded for 32 points. Kaleel Kelly and Marquintez Dixon provided strong support with 13 and 14 points, respectively.

Both teams have proven capable on the road this season. Garden City’s only loss came in a 91-77 defeat at North Platte, while Fort Hays Tech’s sole blemish was a 68-55 loss at New Mexico.

The matchup promises a compelling contrast between Garden City’s high-scoring offense and a Fort Hays Tech squad that has shown its ability to secure tight victories, including a 74-72 win at McCook. Tipoff is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025.
