CHICAGO (Interstat) — The Malcolm X Hawks will look to build on their first win of the season when they host the winless Richard J Daley Bulldogs in a men’s junior college basketball game on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025.

The Hawks (1-2) are coming off a dominant 101-54 road victory over Wilbur Wright on Thursday. Malcolm X’s offense erupted after opening the season with two road losses against Coffeyville and Indian Hills.

Richard J Daley (0-6) is still searching for its first win. The Bulldogs fell 66-57 at home to Highland (Ill.) in their last outing on Nov. 18. Five of their six losses have been by double digits, though they pushed Southeastern to overtime in a 72-69 defeat on Nov. 15.

The Bulldogs will be challenged by a Malcolm X team that found its rhythm, led by Cortez Abel, who recorded a near triple-double with 18 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks against Wilbur Wright. Joaquin Dixon added 21 points and Denyell Rush scored 20.

Following this game, Malcolm X will host Triton on Dec. 4. Richard J Daley’s next contest is at Kankakee on Dec. 4. The two teams will meet again at Richard J Daley on Feb. 5, 2026.
