MOTLOW, Tenn. (Interstat) — The Motlow State Bucks (3-3) will host the Calhoun Warhawks (1-1) in a men’s junior college basketball matchup on Tuesday.

Calhoun enters the contest looking to build on the momentum of a 93-89 home victory over Pellissippi State this past Saturday. The win evened their record after a season-opening 76-64 road loss to Itawamba on Nov. 13.

The Warhawks were led in their most recent outing by Colton Wilbanks, who scored 16 points, and Tayden Ware, who pulled down seven rebounds.

Motlow State seeks to rebound from a 66-56 road loss to Roane State last Wednesday. The Bucks have been inconsistent, sandwiching a 105-77 win over Pellissippi State between double-digit losses to Roane State and Columbia State (107-70). Their season began with consecutive home wins over Andrew and Albany Tech.

This game is the first of a home-and-home series between the two teams, who are scheduled to meet again at Calhoun on Monday, Dec. 8.
