PENSACOLA, Fla. (Interstat) — The undefeated and high-scoring Northwest Florida State Raiders will put their perfect record on the line against the Panola Ponies in a men’s junior college basketball matchup at the Pensacola State Thanksgiving Classic on Monday.

Northwest Florida State (7-0) enters the contest riding a wave of offensive dominance, averaging 95.1 points per game. The Raiders are coming off a 101-74 road victory over Southern Union State on Thursday. Their season includes a 101-99 overtime win at Daytona State and a 103-46 rout of Lawson State.

Panola (3-1) looks to build momentum after an 82-75 home victory over Southwestern Christian on Nov. 17. The Ponies’ lone loss was a 63-44 defeat at Odessa on Nov. 15.

The game features a clash of styles, pitting Northwest Florida State’s potent offense against a Panola team that has held three of its four opponents under 70 points this season.

Following this neutral-site contest, Northwest Florida State will host Wallace State on Tuesday. Panola returns home to face Chipola on Tuesday.
