PENSACOLA, Fla. (Interstat) — Two undefeated junior college men’s basketball teams will clash Monday when the Tallahassee State Eagles face the Wallace State Lions in the Pensacola State Thanksgiving Classic.

The Eagles (4-0) are coming off a narrow 81-80 victory over Santa Fe on Nov. 12, where Rodmik Allen led the way with 22 points, six rebounds and four assists. Tallahassee State’s other wins include a 78-76 result against Central Georgia and a 71-56 road win at South Georgia Tech.

Wallace State (3-0) enters the tournament following a high-scoring 103-95 win over Northeast Mississippi on Nov. 13. Viczavious Madden powered the Lions with 29 points and seven rebounds in that contest, while Tyson Barrett recorded an 18-point, 15-rebound double-double.

The neutral-site game pits Tallahassee State’s perfect record against a Wallace State squad that has averaged 92.3 points per game. Both teams continue tournament play on Tuesday, with Tallahassee State set to host Jones and Wallace State traveling to face Northwest Florida State.
