SAN JOSE, Calif. (Interstat) — The Feather River Golden Eagles will look to build on an opening-season victory when they face the Foothill Owls in a men’s junior college basketball game Thursday at the San Jose City Tipoff.

Feather River (1-0) began its season with a 75-60 home win over Antelope Valley on Saturday. The Golden Eagles now face a Foothill squad opening its 2025-26 campaign.

The Owls enter the contest with an 0-0 record. Their most recent result was an 82-72 home victory over Monterey Peninsula on Feb. 19, 2025, from the previous season.

This neutral-site game is part of a busy opening week for both teams. Feather River will travel to face Palo Verde on Friday, while Foothill is set to host Modesto that same day.

The matchup is one of several organized by the California Community College Athletic Association.
