Coalinga vs Oxnard

COALINGA, Calif. (Interstat) — The Coalinga Falcons will put their undefeated record on the line against the Oxnard Condors in a men’s junior college basketball game at the El Camino Tournament on Thursday.

Coalinga (1-0) opened its season with a 77-69 road victory over Hartnell last Saturday. The Falcons’ offense was powered by a trio of high-scoring guards. Carter Reid recorded a double-double with 26 points and 14 rebounds, Jeremy Goodcase scored a team-high 28 points and added six assists, and Jaeden Merchant contributed 18 points and four assists.

Oxnard (1-1) is coming off a narrow 90-89 win at Barstow, also on Saturday. That victory evened their record after a tough 67-68 loss at Cuyamaca the previous day.

The non-conference matchup, organized by the California Community College Athletic Association, will be a test for both teams early in the season. Coalinga will look to maintain its momentum before facing tournament host El Camino on Friday. Oxnard will also play again Friday, traveling to face Fresno City.

Tipoff is set for Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025.
