MARYSVILLE, Calif. (Interstat) — Two undefeated California men’s junior college basketball teams, the San Diego City Knights and Yuba 49ers, will face off Thursday night in a non-conference matchup.

Both teams enter the contest at 1-0. San Diego City is coming off a narrow 90-88 home victory over East Los Angeles this past Saturday. Yuba opened its season with a decisive 102-85 road win against Sacramento City last Friday.

The game will be a test of offensive firepower. The Knights demonstrated their ability to win a close, high-scoring affair, while the 49ers showcased a potent offense that eclipsed the century mark in their opener.

This contest begins a challenging two-game road trip for San Diego City, which travels to face West Valley on Friday. Yuba will also hit the road for its next game, a Friday matchup at Fullerton.

The Knights and 49ers are scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m. PST at Yuba College.
