Skyline vs Alameda
ALAMEDA, Calif. (Interstat) — The Skyline Trojans will look to build on a season-opening victory when they visit the College of Alameda Cougars in a California men’s junior college basketball game on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025.
Skyline (1-0) is coming off a tight 64-61 home win over Merced this past Saturday. The Trojans will face an Alameda squad playing its first game of the regular season. The Cougars’ most recent result was an 82-64 exhibition loss at San Jose on March 1, 2025, leaving their official record at 0-0.
Wednesday’s contest marks the beginning of a challenging three-game road stretch for Skyline, which travels to Merritt on Friday and Los Medanos on Nov. 13. For Alameda, the matchup kicks off a grueling three-games-in-three-days stretch, with road contests at Los Angeles Trade Tech on Thursday and a home game against Shasta on Friday immediately following.
The game will be the first official action for the Cougars under new head coach Mark Smith, who was hired in the offseason to revitalize the program. The Trojans will rely on their early-season momentum as they navigate a packed non-conference schedule.
