SANTA ANA, Calif. (Interstat) — Two undefeated men’s junior college basketball teams will clash Wednesday when the Chaffey Panthers visit the Santa Ana Dons.

Both teams enter the non-conference matchup with 1-0 records. Chaffey is coming off a nail-biting 85-84 home victory over Cerritos last Friday. The Panthers’ offense was powered by Semaj Morrison, who scored 23 points, and Kameron Gardner, who added 16 points and four assists.

Santa Ana opened its season on the road last Thursday, securing a 73-62 win against Long Beach. The Dons’ defense held their opponent to 62 points in the victory.

The game will be a test for both squads as they look to build early momentum in the California community college circuit. Chaffey’s high-scoring offense, which put up 85 points in its opener, will face a Santa Ana team that demonstrated a strong defensive effort in its first outing.

Following this game, Chaffey will travel to face Santiago Canyon on Friday, Nov. 7. Santa Ana’s next contest is also on Nov. 7, a home game against Imperial Valley.

Tip-off is set for Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, at Santa Ana College.
