CUPERTINO, Calif. (Interstat) — The De Anza Mountain Lions will look to build on a dominant opening victory when they host the Cuesta Cougars in a California men’s junior college basketball game on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025.

De Anza (1-0) opened its season with a commanding 119-87 home win over Solano this past Saturday, immediately establishing a high-powered offense. The Mountain Lions will aim to carry that momentum into their second contest.

Cuesta (0-0) begins its 2025-26 campaign on the road. The Cougars last took the court in February, falling 73-57 at Pasadena City. This game marks the official start of a new season for Cuesta, which will play 10 of its next 11 games either at home or on a neutral court following this trip to De Anza.

The matchup presents a classic contrast between a home team that has already found its rhythm and a visiting squad playing its first official minutes together. De Anza’s explosive scoring display against Solano makes them an early favorite on their home floor.

For Cuesta, the game is the first of a challenging early-season stretch that includes a game at Foothill and a tournament in San Mateo next week. De Anza will hit the road for its next game, visiting Marin on Saturday, Nov. 8.
