BARSTOW, Calif. (Interstat) — The Bakersfield College Renegades, coming off a season-opening win, will look to continue their early momentum when they visit the winless Barstow College Vikings in a California community college men’s basketball game on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025.

Bakersfield (1-0) opened its season with an 83-76 home victory over Cerro Coso on Saturday. Zach Garnett led the way with a double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Zykiar Henderson added 13 points off the bench.

Barstow (0-2) is seeking its first win after a pair of tough losses. The Vikings fell 87-59 at Canyons on Oct. 31, followed by a narrow 90-89 home defeat to Oxnard on Saturday. Despite the loss, Trestyne Nguru delivered a standout performance for the Vikings, pouring in 30 points, dishing 7 assists and pulling down 6 rebounds. Arion Valentine added 20 points in the effort.

The game will be the first of a lengthy homestand for Bakersfield, which plays nine of its next ten games at home. Barstow, conversely, will embark on a three-game road trip following Tuesday’s contest.
