AMERICUS, Ga. (Interstat) — The Eastern Florida State men’s basketball team, riding a wave of momentum, will look to complete a regular-season sweep of South Georgia Tech when the Titans visit the Jets on Saturday.

Eastern Florida State (6-1) enters the contest following a dominant 90-67 road victory over East Georgia State on Friday. The Titans’ only loss this season came against North Idaho on Nov. 7.

South Georgia Tech (2-7) snapped a three-game skid with a 75-69 home win over Northeast Mississippi on Friday. Despite their record, the Jets have been competitive, including a narrow 73-71 loss to Chipola on Wednesday.

The two teams met just one week ago in a tightly contested game, with Eastern Florida State escaping with a 70-67 home victory. The Titans have won their last two games by an average of 23 points.

Interstat’s ELO system projects Eastern Florida State with a 63.1 percent probability to win, though its game simulator predicts a 100-100 tie.

Following this game, Eastern Florida State is off until a Dec. 6 road game at Northwest Florida State. South Georgia Tech travels to Tallahassee State on Monday.
