RANGELY, Colo. (Interstat) — The Central Wyoming men’s basketball team earned its first victory of the season Friday night, defeating Colorado Northwestern 80-64. The Rustlers built a commanding 43-25 lead by halftime and maintained control throughout the second half to snap a three-game losing streak.

Jordan Peel led the Rustlers with 26 points, while Julian Ormond added 17 points off the bench. Carter Killian scored a game-high 31 points in the losing effort for the Spartans. Central Wyoming improved to 1-3, while Colorado Northwestern fell to 2-4.
