SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Interstat) — The Sierra Wolverines and Reedley Tigers will open their 2025-26 seasons against each other in a neutral-site men’s junior college basketball game Saturday at the Sac City Tournament.

Both teams enter the contest with 0-0 records. The matchup is the first for either squad since their previous seasons concluded in February.

Sierra last played on March 1, 2025, falling 76-60 at West Valley. Reedley’s most recent contest was a 77-69 loss at Merced on Feb. 21, 2025.

According to the Interstat ELO system, Sierra holds a slight edge, projected with a 51.20 percent probability to win.

The game serves as the opener for both teams in the early-season tournament. Sierra’s next game is scheduled for Nov. 19 at home against Butte. Reedley will return to action on Nov. 3, hosting Modesto.

Tip-off is set for Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025.
