EL CAJON, Calif. (Interstat) — The Oxnard Condors and Cuyamaca Coyotes will open their new seasons Friday when they meet in a men’s junior college basketball game at the Clash at Canyons event.

Both teams enter the non-conference matchup with 0-0 records. The game is scheduled for Oct. 31, 2025.

The Condors last took the court in February, securing a 92-80 road victory over Ventura. The Coyotes also concluded their previous campaign with a win, defeating Grossmont 65-59 on the road the same day.

This contest serves as the starting point for a challenging early schedule for both squads. Oxnard will follow this opener with a quick two-game homestand, hosting Coalinga on Nov. 6 before a road test against Fresno City on Nov. 7.

Cuyamaca begins its season with a four-game homestand. After facing Oxnard, the Coyotes will host Lemoore on Nov. 7 and Rio Hondo on Nov. 12.

The matchup, organized by the California Community College Athletic Association, will be the first official action for both programs in the 2025-26 season.
