HARRIMAN, Tenn. (Interstat) — The Roane State Raiders will look to build on their first home win of the season when they host the Motlow State Bucks in a men’s junior college basketball matchup on Wednesday.

Both teams enter the contest with .500-or-better aspirations, as Roane State (2-3) seeks to even its record while Motlow State (3-2) aims to get back above it. The Raiders are coming off a 74-65 home victory over Southwest Tennessee on Saturday.

Motlow State arrives after a narrow 81-76 road loss to Volunteer State, also on Saturday. In that game, Sagna Ousseynou recorded a double-double with 15 rebounds and eight points for the Bucks. Bryson Johnson added 11 points and Colton Wilbanks scored 10.

The Bucks have shown a pattern of strong performances at home, including a 105-77 win over Pellissippi State, but have struggled on the road, falling by 37 points at Columbia State earlier this month.

Following this game, Roane State travels to face Dyersburg State on Saturday. Motlow State’s next contest is at home against Calhoun on Nov. 25.
