CHICAGO (Interstat) — Two men’s junior college basketball teams seeking momentum will meet Tuesday when the Highland (Ill.) Cougars visit the Richard J. Daley Bulldogs.

Highland (1-3) is coming off a dominant 95-55 home victory over Wilbur Wright on Saturday. Walter Hill Jr. led the way with 13 points and 11 assists, while Darryl Toney (11 points, 10 rebounds) and Kevin Merlus (12 points, 8 rebounds) also posted strong performances. Prior to that win, the Cougars had dropped three straight.

The Bulldogs (0-5), however, are still in search of their first win. They nearly broke through on Saturday, falling 72-69 in overtime to Southeastern. Richard J. Daley has lost its games by an average margin of 18.2 points.

Tuesday’s contest will be the first of two regular-season meetings between the teams, with a rematch scheduled for Jan. 10, 2026, at Highland.

Tipoff is set for Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025.
