CHICAGO (Interstat) — The undefeated Olive-Harvey Panthers will look to continue their high-scoring start to the season when they host the struggling Sauk Valley Skyhawks in a men’s junior college basketball game on Saturday.

Olive-Harvey (2-0) is coming off a pair of road victories where its offense was prolific, scoring 107 and 103 points, respectively. The Panthers edged Lincoln Trail 107-98 on Nov. 8 before outlasting Lake Land 103-99 on Sunday.

Sauk Valley (1-2) seeks to rebound from a pair of double-digit losses. After a season-opening 67-65 win over Richard J Daley on Nov. 1, the Skyhawks fell 76-61 to Three Rivers on Nov. 7 and suffered a narrow 76-75 defeat at Moberly Area on Nov. 8.

The game will be a test of Olive-Harvey’s potent offense against a Sauk Valley defense that has allowed an average of 71 points in its last two contests. The Panthers have shown they can win shootouts, averaging 105 points per game.

This is the first of two scheduled meetings between the teams this season. They are slated to play again at Sauk Valley on Jan. 24, 2026.
