OTTUMWA, Iowa (Interstat) — The undefeated Indian Hills Warriors will put their perfect record on the line Friday when they host the struggling Salt Lake Bruin Bears in a men’s junior college basketball matchup.

Indian Hills (5-0) has started the season strong, most recently defeating John A. Logan 77-68 on Nov. 8. The Warriors have won every game by at least eight points.

Salt Lake (1-3) is looking to build momentum after a decisive 102-62 victory over Eastern Wyoming on Nov. 12. That win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Bruin Bears, who previously fell to Howard (Tex.) 72-67 and Odessa 80-62.

The game will be a test of a high-powered offense against a team seeking consistency. Indian Hills has averaged 85.4 points per game in its undefeated start, while Salt Lake has shown it can score in bunches, as evidenced by its 40-point win, but has struggled with defensive consistency in its losses.

Following this contest, Indian Hills travels to face Snow College on Saturday, Nov. 15. Salt Lake will host Central Arizona on the same day.
