South Georgia Tech vs Indian River State

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (Interstat) — Two men’s junior college basketball teams seeking their first win in nearly two weeks will meet Friday when the South Georgia Tech Jets visit the Indian River State Pioneers.

South Georgia Tech (1-4) has lost four straight since a season-opening 78-76 overtime victory against Chipola on Oct. 31. The Jets are coming off a 82-74 road loss to Northeast Mississippi on Nov. 7, where Jalexs Ewing led the team with 21 points and nine rebounds.

Indian River State (0-3) is still searching for its first win of the season. The Pioneers fell 81-80 in overtime at Chipola on Nov. 8, their second narrow defeat of the young season.

Despite the teams’ combined 1-7 record, a neutral projection suggests a tightly contested matchup. Interstat’s game simulator forecasts a 100-100 final score.

The Jets will look to Ewing, Matt Mbole and Clark Mastin to ignite their offense and snap the losing streak, while the Pioneers aim to defend their home court and secure their inaugural victory.
