Pensacola State vs Coastal Alabama
BAY MINETTE, Ala. (Interstat) — An undefeated Pensacola State squad will face a winless Coastal Alabama team in a men’s junior college basketball game on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, in a matchup of teams on opposite trajectories.
The Pirates (4-0) are coming off an 89-74 road victory over Lawson State this past Saturday. Malick Sene led the way with a dominant 24-point, 12-rebound double-double, while Deven Bates added 20 points and Sean Owens scored 17.
Coastal Alabama (0-4), meanwhile, is searching for its first win after falling 95-85 at Hinds, also on Saturday. The Sun Chiefs have surrendered an average of 92.5 points per game in their four losses this season.
Despite the stark contrast in records, a projection from Interstat’s game simulator anticipates a tightly contested affair, forecasting a 100-100 final score.
The game will be the first of a home-and-home series between the two teams, who are scheduled to meet again at Pensacola State on Thursday, Dec. 4.
Pensacola State will look to its balanced offensive attack and stout defense to extend its perfect start, while the Sun Chiefs aim to leverage their home court to secure an upset and turn their season around.
