KILGORE, Texas (Interstat) — The Kilgore College Rangers will open their 2025-26 men’s basketball season at home on Tuesday, Nov. 4, against the Grayson College Vikings.

Both junior college programs will be looking to start the new campaign on a high note after their 2023-24 seasons concluded in March. The Rangers last took the court for a competitive game on March 6, 2024, securing an 86-64 road victory over Bossier Parish. The Vikings last played on March 14, 2024, falling 85-69 to South Plains at home.

The season opener in Kilgore will be the first test for both squads before navigating demanding non-conference schedules. Following the game, Grayson will host Trinity Valley on Saturday, Nov. 8. Kilgore will hit the road for its next contest, facing Southern-Shreveport also on Saturday, Nov. 8.

The matchup will provide an early look at two teams aiming to build momentum as they embark on the new season. Tipoff is set for Tuesday night at Masters Gymnasium.
