CARTERVILLE, Ill. (Interstat) — The John A. Logan Volunteers and Three Rivers Raiders will open their 2025-26 men’s junior college basketball seasons against each other in the 1st Midwest Bank Classic on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Both teams enter with 0-0 records, looking to establish a new identity after concluding their previous seasons with losses in March 2024. John A. Logan fell 84-68 at Vincennes in its finale, while Three Rivers lost 79-65 at Mineral Area.

The non-conference matchup offers an early test for both programs. The game is the first of a challenging opening weekend for the Volunteers, who will travel to face Coffeyville and Indian Hills the following Friday and Saturday. The Raiders will also hit the road next, playing at Sauk Valley and Triton on Nov. 7 and 8.

The two teams are scheduled to meet again in a return fixture on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at John A. Logan.

Tipoff for the season opener is set for Saturday at the 1st Midwest Bank Classic.
