Southwestern Christian vs Paris

PARIS, Texas (Interstat) — The Paris Dragons and Southwestern Christian Rams will tip off their 2025-26 men’s junior college basketball seasons against each other when they meet at the Hunt Center on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Both teams enter the contest with 0-0 records, looking to establish an early identity. The game marks the official start for both programs after long layoffs.

Southwestern Christian last took the court on March 9, 2024, falling 99-85 to McLennan. Paris, meanwhile, last played on March 6, 2024, edging Navarro 68-67 in a narrow home victory.

The matchup will be the first of a home-and-home series between the two teams this season. They are scheduled to meet again on Tuesday, Nov. 25, in Southwestern Christian’s home opener.

For the Rams, this contest begins a challenging opening stretch. Their next 10 games feature matchups against perennial powers like Hutchinson, Dodge City and Kilgore.

The Dragons will look to start strong before embarking on their own difficult slate, which includes a road game at Grayson and a rematch with McLennan later in November.

Tipoff is set for Saturday at the Hunt Center.
