TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Interstat) — The Tallahassee State Eagles defeated the South Georgia Tech Jets 88-81 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday. The Eagles improved to 1-0, while the Jets evened their record at 1-1. Marcellus Myles led South Georgia Tech with 19 points, but the Jets could not overcome a first-half deficit after Tallahassee State put up 41 points in the opening quarter. The two teams are scheduled to play again Wednesday at South Georgia Tech.
