Wallace State vs Albany Tech
ALBANY, Ga. (Interstat) — The Albany Tech Titans will open their 2025-26 men’s basketball season at home on Friday, Oct. 31, against the Wallace State Lions.
Both junior college programs will be looking to start the new campaign with a victory after concluding their previous seasons with narrow losses in March. The Titans fell 56-53 to Georgia Highlands in their finale, while the Lions dropped a 63-58 decision to Indian Hills.
The Halloween night tip-off marks the beginning of a busy opening weekend for both squads. Albany Tech will hit the road to face Motlow State on Saturday, Nov. 1. Wallace State will also play on Nov. 1, hosting Andrew College.
This game will serve as the first official action for both teams, as their current 0-0 records reflect preseason standings. The matchup will be the first of a demanding non-conference slate for the Titans, which includes upcoming games against Southern Union State, Motlow State and Chipola College.
Wallace State’s early schedule is equally challenging, featuring a multi-game road trip to Florida in late November with contests against Northwest Florida State and Pensacola State.
