SEDALIA, Mo. (Interstat) — The State Fair Community College Roadrunners will open their 2025-26 men’s basketball season at home against the Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragons on Friday, Oct. 31.

Both teams enter the contest with 0-0 records. It will be the first official action for both programs since their 2023-24 seasons ended in defeat last March.

Hutchinson last played on March 27, 2024, falling 91-69 to Connors State. State Fair’s most recent game was a 94-71 loss to Moberly Area on March 7, 2024.

The intrastate junior college matchup kicks off a challenging opening stretch for both squads. The Blue Dragons will travel to face Northeastern Oklahoma A&M the following night on Nov. 1. The Roadrunners begin a string of four consecutive road games after this opener, starting with a Nov. 4 contest against Olney Central.

Tipoff is set for Friday night at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center. The game will be the first of ten consecutive road contests for the Roadrunners to open their schedule.
