Southeast vs Moberly Area

MOBERLY, Mo. (Interstat) — The Moberly Area Community College Greyhounds will tip off their 2025-26 men’s basketball season at home Friday against the Southeast Community College Bobcats.

Both teams enter the junior college contest with 0-0 records, making this the season opener for each program.

The Greyhounds will look to start the new campaign on a positive note after concluding their previous season with an 86-77 loss to Connors State on March 25, 2024. This game marks the team’s first official action since that result.

For the Bobcats, this game represents a fresh start and the first step in a challenging early schedule. Southeast will face a quick turnaround, traveling to play Southeastern Community College the following night on Saturday.

The Greyhounds’ schedule also remains demanding, with a home game against Wabash Valley College slated for Saturday.

Friday’s matchup at Moberly Area Community College will provide the first glimpse of both teams as they embark on the new season. The Greyhounds will seek to establish an early home-court advantage, while the Bobcats aim to open their year with a road victory.
