CLEVELAND STATE, Ga. (Interstat) — The Cleveland State Cougars opened their season with a 78-74 men’s junior college basketball victory over the East Georgia State Bobcats on Friday night. Despite a game-high 20 points from Antonio Muller for East Georgia State, the Cougars used a strong second-half performance to secure the road win. The result was an upset, as East Georgia State was projected to win with a 64 percent probability according to Interstat’s ELO system.
