Andrew vs Motlow State
LYNCHBURG, Tenn. (Interstat) — The Andrew Fighting Tigers and Motlow State Bucks will open their 2025-26 men’s junior college basketball seasons against each other on Friday, Oct. 31.
Both teams enter the contest with 0-0 records, looking for a fresh start after their 2023-24 campaigns ended with losses last March. Andrew fell 99-75 at Albany Tech on March 12, 2024, while Motlow State dropped a 75-68 overtime decision at Columbia State on March 9, 2024.
The Halloween night matchup at Motlow State’s Copperweld Arena will be the first action for both squads in over 19 months. It kicks off a challenging opening week for the Fighting Tigers, who will travel to face Wallace State the following day, Saturday, Nov. 1.
The Bucks will also face a quick turnaround, hosting Albany Tech on that same Saturday. The game serves as the beginning of a new chapter for both programs, each seeking to establish an early winning rhythm before diving into their respective conference schedules.
