SAN ANTONIO (Interstat) — Carson Brown scored 19 points to help A&M-San Antonio beat Life Pacific 76-71 in a men’s NAIA basketball game Saturday at Bill Greehey Arena. Brown added six rebounds and four assists for the Jaguars, who improved to 3-0. Kesean Bazile led the Warriors with 15 points and seven rebounds, while Xerian Anderson added 13 points and seven rebounds. Austin Johnson also scored 15 for Life Pacific, which fell to 0-2. A&M-San Antonio shot 26 of 55 from the floor, 10 of 22 from 3-point range and 14 of 19 from the free-throw line. Life Pacific shot 27 of 54 overall, 8 of 25 from beyond the arc and 9 of 15 at the line. The Jaguars had 31 rebounds and eight assists, while the Warriors had 36 rebounds and four assists. Both teams committed 14 turnovers. Paul Stegmann added 10 points and five rebounds for A&M-San Antonio, and Najae Williams scored 11. Bela Clobes finished with 10 points and four rebounds. Life Pacific’s Joaquim ArauzMoore had six points and four assists.
